Hi Fellow Chook Lover!! We hope you are enjoying your visit to our site :) We certainly enjoy receiving your many emails saying that you have... The business was launched in February 2006 and in that time we have bred more than 1500 chooks and brightened the lives of dozens of childcare centers and family homes with monthly rental packages (75 % don't come back!). You'll find there are BookAChooks in hundreds of our coops through out Melbourne in chook lovers backyards, nursing homes, kinders and childcare centres and primary schools for them to enjoy for years to come! We've been inundated with orders and rentals in the past 18 months...and indeed the demand for rentals and packages has been so great that we've not been able to help all those wanting 'just' chooks. Rental customers are entitled to set up and get going with their own hens upon completion of their rentals and they have access to the first available hens. Package sales are the same. And both these areas of our business are busy, so if you're thinking about chooks, now is the time to hop to it!!! Our colour range this season is HUGE, and our introduction of 'Pekin Frizzles' has been a huge success. Frizzled pekin's are stunning... really cute...
